The tablecloth from my last post is started. Mom sent me the leftover fabric from my wedding dress. I have it squared to make into napkins for the center of each block. Six of the centers are ready to be knit around. One of them even has knitting on it. I think it will be done by Christmas.
The napkins for the second are on order. I need to get going on the second one as soon as the napkins get here if I am going to finish it on time.
Unfortunately, for my knitting, our new preoccupation is learning about buying an apartment. Maybe, if we are very good, and find a great foreclosure, buying is starting to be an option. It would need to be a fixer upper. Although I'm not sure there is such a thing in the city, but we'll look.
More than likely we'll rent another year or so, but it sure is nice to be thinking about buying.
